ok... whats the biggest streetable cam for a mostly stock lt1? do not want to custom grind

Does anybody know what the biggest cam would be to fit in a stock motor? I dont care if it funs good or not I just want to say i have the biggest cam evar!!11

whatevar, whatevar ill do what i want. i will run some 4.56 and a 5k stall. It will make sweet power on the stock valvesprings too.

Oh that makes it all better then because GM put the best valve springs ever produced into LT1's.

the valve float is good, it will give you more duration, it helps the most with NAWZ

Stop being a cheap *** you want a custom cam, you dont want somthing off the self. A custom cam is the best way to go so listen to what people have to say.

What's the deal with a custom cam grind? If a off the shelf cam has the specs to make good power then whats the difference? Does it just sound cool to say you have a CUSTOM cam? I never have understood this..

Off the shelf isnt bad. It's just not as good as a custom.

Because all the duration and all the lift isn't going to make any more power if your heads cant utilize that duration and lift. On stock heads a big cam isn't worth the drivability losses. If you looking for the best results get a heads and cam package that were designed to work together, and a good dyno tune.
