Default swaybar

would it be bad to take the sway bar out of a daily driver the mount on the passenger side literaly ripped out of the frame and was wondering if i could just take it off

front or rear. i took my front one off.

i have heard by removing the front you will get better drag track times... due to the sway bar not being there allows the front end to lift and better weight transfer.... not sure if its true.. maybe some one else can confirm...

From what I know this is true, but be warned your handling capabilities will suffer if you run no front sway bar.

I am not sure if its true or not either, however alot of guys do it and says it help. I took mine off, after I did the engine swap so I have no way to compare 60's though. But the car does come up it the front faster, and higher.

There is a huge thread about this somewhere with all the big names arguing about it like sam Strano etc. Ill dig it up. It sheds a ton of light on the question.

This I know is a fact, my Z had alot more roll too it after i removed mine.

thanks for the other thread i dont drive my car that hard and when i do it is in a straghit line with someone in the lane next to me i think i am going to take it off and see how it feels
