I did this a couple weeks ago... took a Dremel to the cross supports in the valve covers. Just took out one side of the lower support (side closest to intake). Just put the cutting/grinding wheel on, and had some fun. Make sure you put paper towels or something in the covers, to collect the shavings. Then clean the covers, so you don't get crap in your engine. Works great for me. Had to grind down a couple supports a few times until they cleared, otherwise, was really fast. No problems with stability or clearance now.

You're only going to need to clearance for wide body roller rockers which are only the comp cams pro mag rockers. Just bend the "L" shaped support straight, and you shouldnt have a clearance issuee. you might have to crush the baffle box on the passenger side valve cover..
