Make sure you don't have any leaks between the MAF Sensor and the Throttle Body in the Intake setup. If you have the Stock Elbow, make sure the Donkey Dick didn't fall off. Mine did the same thing once, it would barely move.

It sounds like it's rich as hell, don't know what would cause it besides the Elbow thing..

Sounds to me like it is ignition related, when was the last time you changed the plug wires?

On the dyno, mine wouldnt pull past 5000. Have no idea why. I believe it is just tuning issues. Have you had anything done to it computer wise?

Mine did that, ran fine until you put your foot in it and then just fell on it's face! Mine was fixed by replacing the Opti....

I have had the opti, plugs and wires replaced. I hope mine is just tunning, but we will see. Car runs fine other wise.. and seems to hold well on the street.

Mine did the same thing but i found mine to be the fuel pump. I got spark and all but the fuel lines weren't priming. it would just turn over and over and over. My brother ended up using my opti on his car so I knew it wasn't that.

yea i did fuel pressure tests multiple times and it only surged when it hit the point of "cutting out on me." my msd coil on there now has been on it for about 4 yrs now, hopefully its just reached its life expectancy. now i'm switching to the hypertech coil : 53,000 volts instead of the 45,000 (msd).

Just wondering but when you said no codes showed up on the tech 2 at work??? Don't you mean on the tech1? since a 94 is OBD 1, not OBD 2. Sounds like opti though.

I am guessing it's the Opti...I had the same problem with my 94 z28.

It drove perfect, and then when you wanted to open her up and steped it down, it started hesitating and fell on its face etc..
