those GMPP guideplates fit perfect on the LT1 heads, they dont require you to machine the heads like some guideplates.
Buy those they work good.
only downfall is if you want to run a bigger pushrod, they only make it for the 5/16 pushrod I believe

The GMPP ones are the best fitting standard plates I am aware of they fit better than the rest of the aftermarket but are in no way even close to "perfect" and since they do not result in "perfect" alignment they tend to wear. After about 8K miles I became uncomfortable with the level of wear I was seeing so I switched to Isky adjustables which ere a royal PITA to get adjusted right but are truely the right choice.
I bought Comps that the alignment was horrible with, the GMPP ones which were good enough and now thew Isky's. REALLY wish I had done the Isky's first would have been cheaper. I will warn you now they are going to be up around $50 for a set and require much more effort to install but they are the way to get the rockers centered on the valve and not have wear issues like the GMPP.
