Default My exhaust plan

OK so I plan on changing my exhaust up. Right now I have BBK shorties, bbk ypipe, 3" catback flowmaster, manual cutout.

I'm looking at getting the Pacesetter longtubes, pacesetter ypipe, using most of my 3" flowmaster piping, and putting a single chamber flowmaster or bullet for the muffler, then using the already existing flowmaster piping for over the axle, put the tips out. Anyone make a dual slant cut tip with a 3inch inlet?
Whats your guys opinions on this setup? I kept thinking of going duals, but well its been stated that it would take some time and money considering I have the Spohn torque arm thats relocated.

I saw a dual tip exit on one side under a SS once, and I really liked that look.

I think I can save a few bucks by using my current flowmaster piping.

That doesn't sound like a bad idea. I just got mine dumped under the car, your sound will be out the back more.

What will make more power? The bullet or the single chamber flowmaster?
Which one will make the guy in the other lane **** his pants faster?

To tell you the truth my bro has a dynomouth setup and its really quiet. we just put the PS longtubes this past weekend and IMO it was way louder when he had the manifolds on the car. But the good part is that it pulls harder and sounds smoother than before. Car looks sweet BTW, if those wheels you got are OEM Z06 wheels then my bro's car and your are twins...LOL!

Thanks!
Yeah, they aren't factory z06 wheels, got them off of ebay so who knows who even made them. They are the grey color, they def. look great against the green.

So does anyone know where I can find a slant cut exhaust tip, 3" in, I don't know maybe 2.5-2.75" dual out?

I think the one I saw on a 96ish SS had the dual tips on one side, but I think they were just round. I'm a slant tip kinda guy.

I can't find a 3" inlet, duel outlet tip anywhere. Anyone make one? I'm only going to have the 3" pipe come straight out after coming over the axle, and I like the 2OTR look, but I can't find a dual outlet tip with a 3" inlet to finish it off??? Want to get all the parts together before I start.

I am happy with mine. It's simple, and it gets the deserved attention.

Yeah I know Merv, but I'm a person who likes tailpipes on his car I guess. Its the one piece of bling I allow myself or something.

It's all good..out the back helps, mine blows all the dust all over the back of the car cause of how it is dumped underneath.

Yeah, I had duals that were dumped on my 83z28. While it was awesome sounding, Lemoore CA was quite dusty. Guess I wasn't worried then though, I think I washed that car twice. Looked like **** and went real quick.

Which makes me wonder, anyone ever run a Holley afterburner muffler on a LT1? They sounded so nasty on that 350 I had in the 83.
