I was thinking the same thing about my daily driver. After a few maintenance items (plugs, wires, sealed exhaust leaks, the correct tune for an M6 car) the engine runs like a champ.
My car has swedish heritage with the heart of an American... just like me.

I love my LT1. i COULD go up to a LS1 if i wanted to BUT i really am starting to get mine to where i want it now and it's pretty much paid for totally. After that i'll buy a house. So that's mostly the reason i keep the LT but like you guys said, it's fun kickin' *** in the "underdog". Nothing like the precious" WTF happened here" look ~Cole~

I love the looks on there faces when i run at the track. Now that i have a Strange S60 and Rebuilt M6 That holds 700 RWHP. I ready to see what my LT4 Hotcam only with bolts-ons can do with some real tires. I know i have more than a 12.48 with 346 RWHP with traction.

Paid cash for it in May of '04 -- $3700 with 32,000 original miles.
No Z28 Badges, Dumped exhaust tip -- quiet at idle with the cutout closed. Shocks the hell out of people when it turns 12 Flats at 117

I love mine because they are fairly easy to mod they don't cost nearly as much as an LS1 parts wise. And it is always the underdog everyone thinks because its not an LS1 that they have nothing to worrie about.
