No rasp would be aerochamber hooker cat back. I had it on my car with LT's + catted y-pipe. Quiet as hell and no rasp at all.

ive got LT's, ORY hooked up to the hooker catback with an aerochamber and there isn't much rasp at all its not too bad although there is a little resonance at 60 mph in 6th at about 1500 rpm otherwise no complaints it sound awesome and doesn't draw too much unwanted attention if you dont want it to

I believe some resonators will help get rid of rasp. Talk to a good exhaust shop, not mighty muffler down the road, not wal-mart, not the big fancy place with the chromed 24 inch wheels out front, but a good exhaust shop who does a lot of custom work.

i got some pacesetter mids and just had a borla carback with a 3" high flow cat and it sounds 1,000,000 times better then the old 40searies i had on there! but i just love borla cause it gives the LT1 a nice deep quiet rumble at idle and when you lay in to it people know when your comming!

Loudmouths are notrious for raspy sounds. But imo your best bet in catbacks would be either gmmg or Borla. I love my Borla and sware by it. It has that nice tuned nascar sound and far from rapsy.

Everyone has there own take and "tastes" but I can tell you this. If you go with gmmg chambered exhaust or the Borla, you can't go wrong!

I have the 16" Magnaflow bullet in place of my catalytic converter, works well and souds great. It killed off the rasp I had when I did not want to un a cat.

However I noticed thatwhen it was last off the cage like material on the inside is buckld and cracked, not sure how this happened but I want to replace the bullet sometime soon.

I would like to find another similar muffler that I can use to replace my cat.

i'm saving up for gmmg right now because i love the sound. however, i have done my research and from what i understand the exhaust is quiet at idle and screams when you open up the throttle. also, there is a slight resonance inbetween 2-3k rpms, but it's fine after that. at least, that's what the company itself says. i like the classic car sound.
