Default stock thermostate temperature setting ?

Getting ready to put my rebuild back in the car....doing all the cleaning of stuff (fun, fun). Took the thermostate out and see that it is a 180...I was thinking the stocker was probably a 195....Anyone know ?

Depends, mine is a 180, and the Car doesn't get above 185..even when it's hot at the track.

I have an agressive tune also..it depends on the car I guess. Some are even tempered, most of the OBDII cars are real bitchy.
