Default Anybody know of a good DIY ECU tuning site for the LT1

I've learned to tune many different engines and most I've found a forum dedicated just to ECU tuning. does one exist for the LT1? I may be owning one soon but mostly I'm interested in learning something new and adding another engine to my programming resume.

We HAVE a tuning section. It's just general. I just read around, googled, wiki'ed and tuned my own with TunerPro. It was fun, but then again mine's an EPROM and not EEPROM like your guys'. I envy you for that, since I can't just plug my laptop in, I have to find someone to reburn a new tune. Thankfully I'm happy with my first go. I've only tune 2 cars, my TPI and my LT1, both were huge successes. 1) they worked! 2) I got a bunch of performance.

yea i had to deal with those with my 1989 Formula 350. But Tunerpro RT helped with that issue. Just used the emulator to make changes until i was happy for the day and then wrote a new prom.

make sure you use a 'disposable' e-mail account for the mailing list, I believe your mailbox gets bombarded with spam once you use the system.

This used to live on the baylor site ... I will get it to a better host, and rehost it off my site. General terms of most things found in LT1 edit/Tuner Cats.

I think I do. I think it's on the internet for downloading (see 85droptopta's post).

Yeah, I tried his site, but you need a username and password. I've been meaning to call him, but I didn't wanna bother him.

that was a very good read. Pretty much agrees with what I already know just different termenology to get used to in the tuners.

Maybe recheck your definition file? I'm not too familiar with the tuning aspect.

it just says that on my datamaster to scan it. When you hit "start" to run the log it says "no pcm sync". I gotta screw with it some more when i got time and figure it out.
