Tell you what, You can help pay for the LE3's and I will gladly do a set of LE3's .. Not looking for Gobs of power just yet and not looking to spend loads of money on a motor that'll blow up in the future

Well if you plan on going big later you should just wait a little bit and then go big. Going small now and going bigger later is a huge waste of money. Find out what you want for the car, save and do it right the first time.

winnar! wish I would have waited when I first started modding the car. spending a ****-ton of money and not being happy with the results sucks.

Well im not going bigger till a good ways down the road, It's gonna coast me about the same price to have someone take the heads off and "re-fresh" them anyways. so i figured I would just send em off to LE and have a LE1 head on the car, when Bigger comes and by way of bigger I mean Turboed 383 or 396 setup so, maybe even a Turbo LSx in the car, just looking to make it a decenlty agressive street car for now.

LE3 cam with LE2 or LE3 heads will put down some serious power with the
right bottom end and stall, but I'm sure sure it's everyone's cup of tea for a DD.
See Javier's low-11sec 355 for an example.

It's really a matter of deciding what you are willing to tolerate as far as street
manners to put down nice numbers at the track or on the dyno.
(and I'll tell you right now that you will be depressed seeing the dyno numbers
from a stall A4 but you will love driving and racing it)

If you're looking at LE stuff, consider the LE2 heads for better flow and
components then pick the cam that meets your needs and tolerance.
I went with the LE1HL cam and I've been very happy. Although, the LE1
cam puts down nice numbers (~360rwhp) too and is very well mannered for a DD
