LT1-LT4 Modifications 1993-97 Gen II Small Block V8

Has anyone ever had any trouble re-using cometics?

Default Has anyone ever had any trouble re-using cometics?

Just like the title says. I know I should clean the heads and intake ect...

Nope do it all the time. Just look them over and make sure no signs of problems..Melted edges and what not.

I have reused them 5 times already on a alcohol dragster at 16.1:1 compression without any problem's so far.

I have Cometic's on my engine. If there's any head gasket I would reuse it would be these, they are quite literally solid steal.

Yes, unless there is a area where the black coating has come off of. Then all you need to dress it up with is a can of silver or aluminum spray paint to the affected area (install semi-wet). You could also get some copper coat spray, but it usually doesn't work as well as the spray paint mentioned before.
