Whats the rev limiter on these cars? I was doing a pull this weekend in the 95 LT1 no heads or cam work and i missed a gear Engine went to about 6200 rpm's. We do have a rev limiters right,if so whats it set at? It scared the hell out of me.

Yes, they are set right around 6000, the TACH is often off on those cars, it may have said 6200, but more likely right at 5900-6000.

no need to worry. if you miss a gear, your limiter will prevent damage.
