Let there be light ! PICS....
Well, I did some readjusting to the 6000k Mains & 6000k Fogs and I think the effect is about as good as a free form housing will ever be with a HID conversion. I also corrected the color balance from the LED's in the tail-lights. The tail-lights are now even all the way across the lens. I tried the new 9 LED tower 194 and it really puts out the light and other two 27 LED towers are a good match to the 194 tower for a nice even look

I would suggest you do the 4x6 Hella free form housing. There are few other members with 93-97 T/A's that have used this housing with very good results. If you do a search under my screen name you will find all the info and a bunch of pics from when I did a step by step of all the custom work for the HID's and mounting on my car.

Looks pretty good and the LEDs look nicely balanced as well. I would imagine you will get less glare when you install the front bumper on the car. Right now those HID fogs are prob. shining everywhere and will be more "focused" with the bumper in place. Keep it up!

Thanks Brian and the your exactly right about installing the bumper and reducing some of the glare. I know it looks like the glare is very strong in the picture, but it really is very subtle when you look at it in person. Everytime I try to take a pic of the HID lighting the camera's lens is overpowered by the light frequency of the HID system (Hence, shooting stars ) I had my friend drive by the other direction after adjusting the lighting down and slightly away from oncoming traffic and he said the lighting was very sublte with a whitish-cool blue tint.
This has been a monumental undertaking with all the enginering of the custom brackets, plates, powdercoating, 4x6 glass housing's and other misc. items to make it look lilke a factory install. I will definitely say that when someone comes up with a true projector style 4x6 that is plug and play I will be glad to move to the next level, but as far as LT1 HID setups go, I don't think there is a better option than what I have done with my kit.
