i am going to have to disagree with the whole copper gasket situation unless there is another manufacturer besides Mr. Gasket. I just put on a set of bbk shorties and of course went with the upgraded copper gaskets but after retorquing them three times and still getting a nasty leak i pulled them off and found a flange on the bottom side of the gasket in the middle two exhaust ports that would not allow the headers to make a proper seal. I swapped them out with cork gaskets and hi temp sealer and now it sounds great. Unless i just got a bogus set of gaskets they were garbage. Putting a set of headers on an F-Body is kind of a chore in itself now when you have to do it four times in one week it is now a PITA so naturally I am a little bitter

Disregard the longtube talk. I have the Hooker shorties and they flow just fine! Oh....and the only gaskets I could find that seal up perfectly (tried all types) were the Percy's aluminum gaskets. Go with those
