need help bad!!!!
like the title says. me and a friend swapped a 1995 3.4 v6 camaro to a lt1. the motor is from a 96 TA, engine harness is from 95 TA, pcm from 97 z28.
we put a new coil on, new ignition module, new optispark, and still no spark at all from the coil. does anyone know if there is something that we missed that may need to be changed to make it get spark. also the diagnostic port under the dash cannot hookup to a scan tool. really need to figure it out quik. anyhelp is highly appriciated.

I would start with making sure the PCM is connected correctly. There's probably a 12v power wire that's always on and another wire that turns the PCM on when the key is on.
Also, I would post in the swap section.

Why on earth did you use a 97 PCM? Hopefully it's been reprogrammed to remove the rear O2's and crank position sensor. That said, a 97 PCM will run with an earlier motor just fine (I ran a 96 PCM in my 94Z for a while).
If the diagnostic port isn't working (Blue 7 is the PCM OBDII data wire, needs to go to pin 2 of the OBDII connector under the dash), then something in the wiring's messed up.
And make sure all of your grounds are good. Drivers' side head, passenger side down low on the block.
