2005 G35 Vs LT1?
Does anyone know what a 2005 G35 automatic runs in the quarter? I can't seem to find it anywhere...I know they have 280hp, but I haven't found a quarter mile time yet. I assume they will trap about 102ish? A friend of mine just got one and the damn thing felt pretty quick. I was wondering if it would take out a stock LT1...Personally, I think it will. I like the 5-speed automatic.
I know this may not be an appropiate place to post this, but I really couldn't find anything better...I just wanted some help.
Thanks!

you'll take em, they aren't impressive stock. My buddy's dad has one, I blew his doors off racing from mass to NH, I actually lost sight of him and was waiting at the his beach house for 15 minutes

LT1s are a little faster than Z, not enough to do what your talking about

I don't think you guys are giving enough credit where it is due to the 2005 G35. That is the year they upgraded the HP and their rather quick...They were bumped about 20 hp and weigh about the same as an f-body (if not less)...A better transmission and I think will pull past 100 a little harder...The auto is no joke, but the manual has an extra 18hp and puts down 298 to the crank.
No one has still answered my question though. Does anyone know what an automatic 2005 G35 runs in the quarter?
