Best Rockers Arms to Buy?
Just like the title says, what are the best rocker arms to get. Here's my situation. I have a 96 Z with a bad lifter. Since I have to go in and replace the lifters I figure it would be wise to step up to the 1.6 rr's right?
I can't afford to do a cam swap right now because the trans just took a crap. So priority one is the rebuilt trans, new clutch and I want to finish the driveline (4.10's aluminum driveshaft etc... That's my winter project.
Anyways what would you guys recommend in my case. It's a stock motor btw, I was looking at the 1.6 LT4 rocker arms but I was wondering if there were any better ones out there that I would want to look into.
Thanks

pro mags but you can find some scorpions cheaper, but I hear they are louder.
Also if there is no cam in the future, the Lt4 springs should be okay and a CHEAP alternative, to behives or dual springs, for a stock cam.
Are you going NSA or SA, I always reccomend NSA if a cam is in the future but then you have to buy hardend pushrods and guideplates too.

For those who don't know those are just roller tipped and not full roller--that's why they're not too expensive. About the Scorpions, I wouldn't say they're louder but I would say that maybe the Comps are quiter cuz they're steel. My Scorpions are just as loud as my Cranes were as they're both aluminum.
