Default Can ignition go bad?

Can ignition parts (ex. opti, coil, wires etc) go bad from sitting for say two years?

yeah, moisture could probably get into the opti etc. Also hopefully you drained your tank or added some stabil to it.

Well it didnt have very much gas in it when it was sitting up (before i had it anyways so idk if they put stabil in it?) But i put like 3/4 of a tank of good gas to mix in if it had bad gas anyways with some injector cleaner and stuff. One more question....If im not getting spark at all when I pull the #1 plug wire and put it on the header with a screwdriver could that be the ICM? or would that just be an opti/coil related.
