Default Opti Pics

I have taken my opti off because the car will crank but not start, checked for spark at the coil and the plugs are there are none. Do you think I need a new cap and rotor or a whole new opti? I feel the rotor rubbing also. Here!

Just another example of why the only opti one should get should be the GM opti.

MSDs are supposed to be pretty good, but that one obviously got a lot of moisture. I just bought a new unit off of Ebay and it works really well... bought it from "all_ignitions".

If you look at the pics, the sealing o ring for the cap is out of place, on the bottom 1/2 of the opti it is in place, on the top it has rolled over into the inside of the opti, maybe thats how the moisture got in.

Also looks like a rotor shaft bearing failing. Which usually kills the optical portion of the opti.
