Default So Weiland is making ANOTHER intake for the LsX engines...

If you take a look in LS1 external tech you will see that Weiland is making another intake manifold for the LsX style engines and they are claiming big power. A little bit back there was a thread here in this section about a guy wanting to make one, and another a year or two back on Cz28. Some one needs to see that we need to get a composite, ls1 styled intake for our motors! If you build it ( and have have gains better than 5 rwhp (( edelbrock)) We will buy it!

also a composite intake will have issues with hot oil being sprayed against the bottom....

So far we have 3 different designs. Were going to build a prototype of each one this winter and which ever has the best #s, thats what we'll go with.

We should all just give up and buy LS1s. LT1 aftermarket blows in comparison, and it always will. Why do we try to make these damn inferior motors fast?

Oh yea, I forgot, our cars look better!

I still believe it's because Mitsubishi had a hand in the optispark.
