Yay!!! Getting The T/a Today!
So i have been on here researching and just browsing for a while now and have been in the market for a camaro or t/a and i finally found a nice lower mileage t/a its a 96 auto. i was just wondering how much torque converters cost or a range and how hard it would be to install and if i would even be capible of installing it, and how much it would be if i paid someone else to do it. thanks guys!

they run in the 5-600 dollar range just depending on which one you buy and from who... All you have to do is be able to pull the transmission to do it, it is not too bad, a pain however if you do it on the ground. if you have ever removed a transmission before you can do it, there is no trick to it... If you have a dealership do it, it will probably run you about 500, you might be able to get a aftermarket shop to do it for less.. hope this helps....

so i picked the car up last night and it was amazing. i will never go back another import car again seriously my gti i had rode great and had great power but this t/a blows it out of the water. and listen to this last night im driving the car home not even speeding on the highway and some civic is weavin in and out of traffic and my buddy was following me (he took me to pick the car up) has a 92 25th anniversary camaro 5.0 and we both just gun it and toast this little ricer and the guy even went so far as to get off the freeway after we shamed him. i cant wait to really get used to the car and then begin modding!

Under The Bra. . .
so when i first looked at the car i kinda checked under the bra and asked the guy if there was any scratches or dings or dents and he said none at all, and then when i finally got the car home im looking alot more close at under the bra and there is a few chips and the usual damage from small rocks or objects hitting the car. so there are definitely some imperfections and you can see where he has used like some spot cover up like touch up paint cause there are like little squares missing and they are white and sunk in farther than the regular paint but for the price i dont think its a bad deal at all. i actually got it for 5800.00 and thats the lowest blue book value and it is definitely in alot nicer shape than that. thats really the only thing that is wrong with it besides some small tears in the drivers seat where you rub your back when you usually get in. overall i felt like a little kid on christmas last night driving this car. i had the biggest grin in the world.
