Default ebay 383 kits

Im getting ready to tear down my motor in my lt1 car and want to do a 383. Im am not going to make the car a bottle baby and its not going to have a huge McLoppy cam in it. the car is my 94 25th trans am. its in a auto and i drive it like a old lady and havent had it to the track in the last 4 years. will the ebay kit that is clearanced for a regular base cam to .600 lift and is internally balanced. this is the kit in question http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SB-CH...QQcmdZViewItem . i have a LE2 head and LE1cam sitting im my garage. will this kit be ok for what i want out of it. as far as my understanding that all i need to do is bore the block .030 over. what else would i need to do to make this work?

i would shop around on the net a little bit - there are many good reputable folks out there that will stand by the parts if there is a problem - and you will find the kit for the same price or only slightly more. I use eBay a lot, but not for stuff like this.

The block will need to be clearanced for a 3.75 stroke crank.

if going with eagle stuff i highly recommend getting it re-balanced. I know plenty of people that use there stuff and most who have issues didnt do this and those who dont have had them rebalanced.

I suspect every piece in the kit is of lower than stock quality and specifically second the rebalance recommendation, another $160 or more to the pricetag.
