Solid Roller/Again!
Well i talked to Bret B about the SR set up today that i was mentioning in my first new threads. Damm alot of $$$$, My friend told me it cost a **** load and he was for real. Any opinions from any one on if its worth spending that much money. I mean i just wanna have like a 6.50 1/8 mile car and ill be happy! Of course ill have my share of nitrous on this car to and i think i can get my goal with spray and not have to go with the SR. What yall think??

Make sure he is not only knowledgable about LT1s, but that he means RWHP and not flywheel. LT1s respond a bit differently then traditional SBC's, and 375 at the flywheel is cake, and not impressive at all.

Are you building a motor? 383/396 etc.
6.50 in the 1/8 is not light on the wallet!

So thats like 10.0-10.1 1/4 mile
I say if you can get a stock shortblock togo that fast and I doubt you can it will blowup after 1 or 2 runs
It costs alot of money to go fast and keep the car from breaking everytime you take it to the track
