I have a 97 Camaro SS with the following mods...my friends keep telling me i have like 300 wheel hp. i say no way. I am putting it up on a dyno in the spring, but i am curious to know what people think it might have.

LT4 Hotcam kit with 1.6 RR rockers
LT4 Heads ported with upgraded valve springs
Meziere Electric Water Pump
Borla Cat-back exhaust with Catless Mid-pipes
Kooks Long Tube Headers
LTCC Conversion
BBK Throttle Body
PCMforless Tune (max HP tune, runs a little richer for more power)

It's also a 6-speed and I have a Spec Stage 2 clutch and billet flywheel

and i have 4.10 gears if that means anything. Any ideas anyone?

Most 6spd hotcam cars tend to make about 325-345 RWHP. Add the ported heads and you're looking at a little more than that.

hate to tell you but making it run richer isnt going to make more power. my guess is probably about 350 to the tires and you should hang with him if hes in stock form.

I would say yes. A stock ls2 gto would probably be putting down about the same power (maybe slightly more), but the gto also weighs more so it would be close.

Depending on how good of a driver you are vs how good he is.. he may very well take you but it won't be by much. I am unsure of the weight on those GTO's but I'm nearly positive they have some girth more than our cars do. Hes got more power though, but you've got more efficient power (if your build was done right) so that may work in your favor.
