Default Timing chain gear question
I found this gear and it has GM marked on it and wondered how i could tell if it fit my car. reason i ask is during tear down of the motor i lost one of the gears.

If you're wanting to know what gear that is, it's a crankshaft gear. There should be a part# on it. Make sure it's the right one for your year's car.

funny thing is there is no part number anywhere just a GM stamp??
