Anyone have them? That still have a good hex on them, mine are ****.

i hate those stupid bolts. get some new washers from gm. mine were **** and leaking like a ****. got some new ones and it dried up instantly.

Ive got 4 new washers on them, $7 a peice

I cant torque them down becuase the bolt heads are sooo fucked.

i had the same problem, my friend works at a chevy dealership, got a new bolt and the two washers, its a pain to install but rather that then leak coolant everywhere.

There are two different PNs for those bolts, some have a very shallow hex some have a taller one. Get ahold of a good LT1 specialist GM parts supplier like Jason Cromer(sp?) and I bet he can help.

I say talk to a specialist because they will make sure you get the taller ones so this doesn't happen again.

I forget whether it was the later or earlier ones that were taller.

Ill have to search for some more info on them, gmpartsdirect.com sells the bolts and tube for $48.

To bad GM used a soft metal for something in such a tight spot.
