use a spring compressor. As long as you use that it is easy.

you can rent a spring compressor from autozone. unless your new spring and shocks are already mounted together then you wont need it. its like $45.00 to rent, but once you return it you get your money back.

Most autoshops have neumatic spring compressor tools that are easy and SAFER to use. They probably wouldn't charge much if anything to use it to install the springs on your new struts.

Yea like said man just get a spring compressor. I bought two of them from Autozone to do the Springs and it was mad easy. Replacing the shocks is really no more work at all.

This is the Guide I followed when doing mine and found extremely helpful:

You may want to check the condition of your upper spring mounts. They have been known to deteriorate...No need to do the job twice!
