Default Slow Start w/ New battery = starter?

Had a Bad slow start condition, but always managed to fire up, figured it was the battery, went and bought a new one, just so i know its new and has a warranty.

didnt fix the problem. i mean it turns only 2-3 times like normal car, but it goes from slow- to almost nothing, then the car fires up , when it sounds like it should be dead.

my gut tells me starter is going out, or Ground wire to the starter is taking a Poo..

can anyone give me just a slight direction to go on this?

thanks.

oh and Voltage is normal, have not done a Volt drain test on the starter, i guess i should do that as well. i expect to see a large drop in voltage on stater engagement, since it seems to suck almost everything out to start.

Yea I'd say starter or bad ground connection as well.

See how far the volt meter drops while cranking (pull the coil wire so it'll crank a few times).
