Default Just go car....gas pedal?

Hey i ust picked my 94z last night. The gas pedal is really hard to push, almost like it has a really hard spring. I felt the butterfly at the TB and it doesnt feel hard at all......and suggestions?

If the car has been sitting, the throttle cable could be bad from getting gummed up due to not being used. I have no proof that it could even happen, so it's simply a guess. You could always unhook the throttle cable from the gas pedal and try to move it[pedal] and see if it's like, rusted or something and just needs to work. Only other thing I can say is lube every moving part up. You might even be able to spray lube down the throttle cable plastic. If you do, I'd let it hang vertical for awhile to make sure it gets down it.

Was going to say you might need to work on that leg but i guess that joke has lost it's effectiveness due to timing
