Default 5" auto meter tach.. how do you wire ???

just like it says .. i bought a used tach that was working ... it has i think 4 or 5 wires... just wondering if anyone has one or knows what color wires do what and where they go .. any help would be great.

I need to add to my sig but i have an MSD 6AL box now that has the output for a tach.

^^i agree...i know the factory tachs are off...but i wouldnt get one. I would just get a shift light and put a chip in it...same thing basicly

I bought one of these;

More accurate than the stock tachometer with out that ricer after taste. Plus having a 5 inch tach on the dash takes up too much room in my personal opinion.
