Default Cleaned up the ole engine bay

well i got bored and decided it was time to clean up my engine bay...it was getting kinda nasty. So i broke out the goo ole power washer and went to work!



I wanna tear it all apart al really clean, but i dont have a second vehicle...so yeah. but oh well..

Looks good. But were is your plastic piece that goes on the core support?

Nice and clean, but why did you paint everything flat black? I like em with the exterior color. But to each his own, the motor looks excellent.

It was broken in the accident..i've been trying to find a new one with no suck luck

Because the red was reall really nasty...the black made it look better for the time being...when i get all the body work done im gonna have them shoot the engine bay as well.

this is the closest i could find to a before shot...

Sounds good. These cars are getting up in age so having perfect paint everywhere is hard to do...lol

Good job. One thing you may want to consider is taking steel wool or a wire brush to metal parts and a little metal polish. It makes a big difference, especially on the brake and AC lines.

good idea, thanks for the tip. I have some of that never dull stuff...i just need to find more time to get out there and spruce it up.
