get a Yoshi Slip on Pronto, saves about 15 lbs, and gives you a nice 10hp kick in the high revs. stock exhaust wieghs about 20lbs, its redicolous.

you wont bring a tire up if you lean forward when you accel, hell even with leaning back and down geared it woultn come up. the Exhaust in the middle is perfect becuase it allows wieght to be centralized, adds in cornering abilitites, which is what i love about that bike, thing rides on rails.
perfect knee dragger!

i came out of my buddies the other night and bought it up to about 11/12 and shifted quick and nailed 2nd laying on the tank and it came up 6 inches or so. lol, i know thats not much but it sure gave me goosebumps.
yea once i learn to listen to sound of the engine and know when to shift, its too much to take it all the way up and still have to look at the gauge to see where im at then shift and make sure im not going to die.
hahaha, man i have waaaayyyyy to much tied up in that rig to sell it lol.

Nice bike, a lot of people make mistakes because they think they can handle the bike too soon. Enjoy the bike, they're pretty quick in the canyons too. They're fun and great on gas, as mentioned. Although I NEED the car more, I switch and take my R1 whenever I can.
