Could it be the low coolant temp sensor plug on your vette as most Fbody guys end up unplugging theirs do to the sensor failing and turning on the low coolant light. Check the coolant level sensor at the top passenger side of the radiator (not sure if its the same on the vette).

The coolant looked ok the other day when I was under there. But I didnt check it closely. Ill take a look at that.
The car has only had 1 owner since it was brand new. I dont know why it would be unplugged except for the fact some electrical work was done to it recently. Maybe the technician forgot to plug it back in.

Ok my check engine light is coming on after long drives.
I noticed the "oil temp" gauge doesnt seem to move and the engine temp gauge was climbing fairly quickly.
Could it be some kind of temp control switch ? I still cant find where it plugs in.
