Back after 3 years
Hey all, ive been out of the loop for the last 3 years. This is my first post back on this site in over a year. My car has just sat(will not pass inspection) anyways i was wondering what new products have come out for our cars and even more spacificly the lt1 motor. Basicly i have everything done to my car that a person could do 4 years ago. Has anything new came out? like 32 valve heads or so on and so forth. I took my car out on the road last night for a quick spin and i feLL back in love (no plates no inspection )

what are the heads flowing now days , My heads flow around 290s at my lift (according to the flow sheets) i have gtp stage 2 heads. I also have a sts turbo kit with ft mnt intercooler on my car. I was really hoping to see a new intake since all they had when i was into this was ported stock ones, or the
lt4 ones, and a few companies had some crazy sheet meteal ones for all out racing.

Lots of guys converting over to single plane intakes too. Since you already have a turbo kit mabye look into some better heads and a single plane intake to bump up your power

edelbrock has come out with an overpriced aftermarket intake, not much better than stock i hear. and msd has come out with an overpriced aftermarket opti, which is also not anything to sing praises about. some company started making affordable stainless long tubes for lt1 f-bodies. thats all i can think of that is semi-recent.

Things are good with me. I actually live just up the road from you in West Henrietta....only a couple minutes from your old apartment on the corner of 251/East River Road. We should get together sometime....I'd love to see your car. Have you run it at the track yet?

No i have not had my car to the track becasuse the last time i was up their they said i could not come back untill i had all the safty stuff i need. And that was a few years ago. Also only way for me to get my car to the track would be to trailor it their becasue i cant drive it on the street due to no inspection. This is why its just sat in my garage for the last 2 years. Anyways yeah we should hang out some time.

To be totaly honest I can not think of a big thing to change sine then except maybe Madmans Kick *** suspenion setup
With a turbo I would not swap heads unless I had to with what you ahve there.
Good to see you back.
BTW Jason I still have that engine...sitting under a bench in the shop
