Default a/c compressor removal

I am in the process of removing the a/c and cannot get the compressor out. the 3 mounting bolts are out as well as the bolt in the back that holds the hoses on. When I try and pull it out through the bottom, it is restricted by the power steering pump lines and the fans. Is it able to be pulled from the top? Any other ideas?

It was my understanding that the pump and lines, or just the pump lines must be removed to get the compressor out.

Yea, I just took mine out without removing any of the PS Lines or Fans, you just have to twist it a certain way and muscle it out. It's a pain but it will drop out.
Good Luck

You gotta twist it, yell at it, swear, pound a beer, cut yourself, pound another beer, then twist it more, but it will come out. I know when I did my car delete I just did the front 3 bolts and yanked, it came out with some gentle "persuasion"

Yea.. the Bracket in the back of mine was broken, I didn't even realize it was there until I took off the Compressor and noticed a Bolt and a broken piece of Aluminum.

YEA!

You just need to make sure the lines are already out of the car, the compressor is loose, and have some small hands

Pulled it out once the tensioner was removed. Everything else was smooth after that.
