I have my car (in sig) apart right now to install pacesetter longtubes and an ORY in place of the SLP shorties that are on right now. The exhaust system that is on there now is the 3" SLP 2OTL system. I was debating replacing it with a Magnaflow muffler that has roughly the same dimensions of the 2OTL muffler to keep the stock look of the Firehawk. I have always loved the sound of the exhaust but I am worried about the restriction of the "cone of silence" that it has. So my question is should I cut out the "cone of silence" and keep the 2OTL muffler or go with the universal Magnaflow that has the same dimensions? I am looking to keep it as quiet as possible. So which would sound best with my mods?

Cut out the cone and see how it sounds. Then if you dont like it, buy the magnaflow.

I have pacesetter headers with a magnaflow catback and it sounds amazing.

Oh, well i still say go with the 2otl. Which this is coming from a guy who doesnt like magnaflow.
