We can get you a Meziere or CSR pump if needed. I personally do not suggest an E pump unless it is more of a weekend car.

if you chose to go this route give us a call

take care

I don't see a problem with running an e-pump on a daily. I am and so are a few of my friends, for years now with no problems.. Oh well. I'm sure there's some science behind it lol

I had went through a couple a few years back on my 96 Z. There is far more reliability in a stock pump IMO over a stock pump.

it's just my opinion and could cost us a sale, but it's just the way I feel

BTW : I do have a CSR on my 97 now, but it is a weekend car if and when I have time to enjoy it.

I agree on that.. Stock pumps are far more reliable. But I mean its a hit or miss. Like i said i havent had a problem for years now so i cant complain

Meh, get a wired, relayed warning system and you'll never have to worry about a failing e-wp again. I've got one with both a ground failure warning and a pump failure warning. It's real easy to pull out an electric pump and put in a new one once you have everything setup.

I disagree. I went through two mechanical pumps in 2 years. So I switched to a Meziere EWP and hopefully this will last longer than stock ones

my first CSR lasted about 25k miles and a new one was only around 250 dollars, plus if you're doing a big cam it will help out with vaccum loss

stock pumps last far beyond 60K miles in most cases...did you have cheap rebuilt units?

again please understand I'm not knocking the pumps and I have had them on both my cars, but if it was a DD I would not run one. This is just my opinion, so don't kill me

I put a meizere on 7 years ago after multiple "AC Delco" WP failures (they all leaked). The miezere is rated at 2500 hours and at a "average" speed of 35 MPH...that is 87,000 miles....which is way longer than any mechanical pump lasted for me.

I keep a spare in the trunk but have never needed it. Driving 5 hrs in 100+ heat to Vegas gatherings, etc., if the EL ever did puke at least i could swap in another on the side of the road in 10 minutes. having the "speed bleeder" with hose also helps in the system bleed as well for a "no spill" solution.

If the mechanical would have not become a chronic problem I would have stayed with it. While my care is no longer a DD I did do the swap when it was.

I was going to swap over to an ewp when I did h/c in 2005, but why change something if it's not broken. Still running the same factory waterpump to this day, and it's 14 yrs old..knock on wood on this one...not a drip of coolant.

MEZ HD on my daily driver no issues, no warning system either but vettes have two coolant temp sensors (and in different locations too) I watch my guages so I don't worry about an idiot light for the pump.

I daily drive a e pump and it's been good for 15k miles so far. I would much rather replace an e pump than to pull all the water pump. I have a relay system on mine that some guy sold as a kit on the impala forums. It has a buzzer for a relay trip and a temp sensor in the passenger side head. works great.

How do you hook up a light or buzzer to turn on when your pump fails?

Id be interested in the warning kit to. Right now I just have leds and a extra circuit with a diode so if one fails I can flip a switch and have a back up . But ive been trying to find a buzzer And I wish the damn Autometer warning lights werent so expensive btw
I have a Mez on my car and I havent had any problems except for the previous owners crappy wiring.Which is why I wired in a extra circuit with a switch ( never did make it up to speed inc for the open house. I was on the side of I355 then my car was stolen that night )
