LT4 Knock Module
I put roller rockers on my car this weekend, as well as an LT4KM that I got given to me. After it was all done, the car runs ALOT smoother. I couldn't believe it. I doubt it was the rockers, unless there was a pre-existing problem. I was just wondering if this is typical of the LT4KMs? I actually put it on not expecting it to do anything. It's incredible how much smoother it is. It was enough that even the girlfriend noticed, which was a surprise.

I didn't think I would get anything out of it either. Unless there was a problem I didn't know about with the factory rockers, it had to be the LT4KM making it run smoother. I wouldn't think a basic rocker arm swap would make this big of a driveablility improvement. It was a night and day difference. I'm just trying to see if this has been the case with anyone else.

well i am thinking about getting the LT4KM as well becuase there will be times when im driving and on the throttle and and it feels good and then it kinda feels like its not falling on its face but just holding back a little bit, and it really bothers me, cause for it to go away the car either has to shift into the next gear or i have to let off the throttle for a few seconds.
does that sound like its registering knock?

best way to see it is to log it. I have a ton of false knock going on in my car. I pulled the timing back to 27 degrees at WOT (tunercats) and re logged and it was still there. Im thinking i need the lt4 km, so for $45 im going to give it a try and see if it gets rid of it.

Could have been. I've had a couple of sets of rockers before (Different cars) that were cheapies and didn't do what the ProMagnums did. Maybe it was a combo of both. Just trying to see if anyone has had this happen with either the module or rockers. So far +1 for rockers.

You shouldent notice an LT4 knock module unless you were getting false knock. Its just a desensitized version of the LT1 KM, but not by a ton. So if you were getting alot of false knock, thatd be where the car would be night and day.

After putting the headers on mine and watching it with a scanner it is showing no less that -27 degrees at anytime while driving around it has show to be pulling timing in the low 40's.
