Gotta get the Vette fuel rail covers (here's a pic of my engine bay before headers):

I have found some Vette FRC's at GM Parts Direct for $22 each. I assume they are paintable b/c many others I have seen are a variety of colors. Then I was thinking of getting some MBA covers with Trans Am or something else on there.

FastWhite TA, did you need to customize any wiring or vacumm lines from the intake to be able to put the fuel rail covers on?

I honestly didn't install them myself, but I found a document online detailing the installation. Looks like a few modifications are needed.

Just go to "LT1 rail covers" section. Hopefully that helps.

Here is a pic of mine that a guy just took last week. Still needs to be cleaned up, battery moved, and vac. lines re-routed...but its getting closer. Some other pics can be seen in the sig....just look for the IROC and Z28 folder.

I did the whole LT4 dressup deal (powdercoated the intake through Nasty Performance). Car has a trick flow elbow and GMPP intake.
Heads, cam, Hooker LT's, AC delete and the usual boltons, but not nearly as badass of a motor as Anthony's car...

Thanks for all the posts. I have a good idea of what I am going to do. Powdercoat: Alternator, brackets, vortech elbow, waterpump. Get some FRC's and paint those gloss black and cover the vette lettering with some custom stainless pieces with trans am engraved on them. Throttle body plate, then see how everyting ties together.

custom fuel rail covers
custom valve covers
throttle cable cover
partially polished intake
polished alternator (not in pic)
food for thought

fast, where'd you get that "supercharged" throttle body plate? Mine is just a BBK plate right now, and I'd rather not plug a predominantly-Mustang company on my motor... thanks for the info.
