A4 ls1 over M6 lt1
ok, so i love my car and i just picked up some headers and a lm1 and can't wait to put them on, but my buddy at work says he's knows an old man with 2002 z28 or ss i can't remember with 29k miles, its an A4 and i think its stock, but he says the guy only wants 6k for it just to get rid of it. should i take it. i would have to sell my t/a, but i don't like Autos especially in a sports car and it would be a daily driver. now understand i know ls1 are faster, i just really want a m6 ls1 what would m6 guys do?

ummm...if its an SS, i'd buy that car all day long. if i hate the auto enough, sell it for more than i bought it for and but what i want. even a z28 with 29k is well worth 6 grand, if not twice that

Buy it and convert it to a m6. It may cost 2k. but than you could sell the a4 trans. And be left over with a 02 ls1 m6 car for 7-8k. I dont think thats half bad.
Have you drove an ls1 a4 car yet? They are still pretty fun. You may just wana keep it.

If he HONESTLY is selling it, go take out a damn loan for it. Keep your LT1, drive the LS1 for a bit and see if you'd rather have it or not. If not, then sell it for 4-6K over what you paid and not only pay off your loan and get some credit but have money!

If this is indeed "TRUE", you would be a fool if you don't buy it, that is a VERY low miled car, you can flip that car for 12K easy, i've seen very low miled LT1 SS's bring 8-10 grand.
