Default Reverse Inhibit Soleniod

I just had my service engine light come and when I checked it, it came up as Reverse Inhibit Soleniod.

What would cause this?

I have another issue as well, but am not sure what it is.

While driving at highway speeds in 4th, 5th, and 6th gears, when I go about half throttle the RPM shoots up and the cars does not accelerate for several seconds then grabs and goes. This is accompanied by a vibration, similar to when the clutch slips. This leads me to believe it's the clutch, but with the new reverse trouble, I'm not so sure.

I have bled the hydraulics, because the fluid was black, again.
I have a McLeod hydraulic line on the master so there should be no restriction from the line.
The clutch is firm and fully engages at part throttle.

This is an 02 T/A with a stock T-56 and 10 bolt rear with a Spec stage III clutch with about 10K on it.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

What is the exact code that you are getting?

Also that revving up is your clutch slipping.

Sounds like there is a short in the wire or the plug came undone. Not sure though.

Glad to hear it's just the clutch, it was just a matter of time.
