Default Is this clutch shot?

This is a clutch for a T56 on an LT1 F-body. Supposedly this is a new clutch with about 1,000 miles on it.

I don't know crap about looking at a clutch/flywheel and assessing its condition, but the flywheel looks scary to me. Don't know about the clutch disc, but I don't like the places where it looks like the friction material is "scuffed."

What do you guys think? Can I just resurface the flywheel or does the clutch need to be replaced too?

Flywheel is cooked, clutch disc is borderline. I wouldn't use that setup, not worth the installation time and effort to have it fail.

Default

that looks like a China replacement clutch...wear for stated milage looks "normal"

If it were my car I would get the FW resurfaced for $40 and buy a real clutch

basically you get hat you pay for. that clutch is a $200 replacement. $500 and up is the next step.

ZOOM, SPEC, RAM are some options
