Clutch problem
#2
Is this a new clutch? If so then yes, either the clutch has more shim than it needs or the Master (if it's adjustable) is not adjusted properly. If this is a used clutch then high-pedal engagement can occur as a result of disc wear. Let me know a bit more about the situation and I will be happy to provide more info. Thanks,

The clutch is a ram and it has a ram adjustable master...The clutch has about 10k miles on it.. Its been slipping for awhile.. Didnt know if it was because I needed a new clutch or something else

Slippage can occur as a result of a misadjusted Master or the use of more shim than needed. I am not sure if you have shims installed...but I assume you do based on the info provided. That being said you can try adjusting the master and if that doesn't help then you can pull the trans and check the shims. Let us know what you find. Thanks,

the shims in the trans are fine. never slipped once while i had the car. i did the adjustable master tho. didnt have time to find that sweet spot were to set it at because i sold the car shortly after installin it. its a ram powergrip hd.

Using shims and an adjustable master are not always ideal because they both impact clutch release. It is often easier to set-up the assembly using one or the other but that being said, since you have an adjustable master try changing the adjustment and go from there.
