Default t56 extension shaft

does anyone know the inside diameter of the extension shaft bushing on the
t56 tranny in a 98 camaro think mine has play in it but cant find id measurement anywhere online

The bushing around the splines joining counter to extension shafts? That bushing has no tolerances to it other than slipping over the splines.

The extension shaft is inside the tailhousing where the 5/6/Rev drive gears are located. It's splined into the countershaft.

If you're asking about the tailhousing slip-yoke bushing, then yes, it can wear.

my camaro is making a strange noise from 40mph and up gets worse the higher the speed dont really feel it but you hear it seems like its coming from middle to rear of car kind of sounds like a tire going down or like if you have windows closed going down the road and open a sunroof and you get that concussion sound inside of car, was told it was the tailshaft bushing so i removed tail shaft and looks good so was wondering what the id of that bushing should be mine measured 1.505. already replace d/s and tried 3 different sets of tires and wheels still no change maybe axel bearings in my moser?
