Default Couple of questions

1. How many quarts of transmission fluid does a T-56 hold? How much syncro mesh should I put in there? It has over 100K on it.

2. Where is the drain plug?

3. How do you remove the torque arm from the bracket on the transmission?

Like already said, 4 qts, but I would use a regular dex III fluid. I don't know for sure about the synchromesh, but synthetic fluid in general isn't good for the pre-98 (or 97?), as they use paper instead of carbon fiber seals, which synthetic fluid can destroy.

EDIT: Wait....is Synchromesh synthetic. I kinda feel like a dumb *** for just assuming it was.

Oh, in that case, Tremec recommends Mobil 1 ATF, otherwise a lot of people seem to have good luck with Pennzoil dex 3 and others.
