Default cammed ls7 clutch

Curious if the ls7 clutch kit is the one for me. My mods is full exhaust, lid, ms3cam. Curious is this clutch gonna hold up? Or is there one that is comparible? If anyone has a just a cammed car, let me know how it holds up, everything.
Thanks guys.

The LS7 clutch should hold up well for you.

I've been really happy with mine.

I purchased mine from KYspeed.

Also Scoggin Dickey sells them too.

Monster is another clutch company that's very popular on here too.

All companies mentioned are sponsors.

Cammed LS1 here, no problems.

FYI - I dont drag race, nor do I dump at 6k rpms. I autox with it shifting around 6k rpms no problems, smooth like butter Not power shifting just shifting!

I've learned my lesson no more trashing my clutch.

Check out the mods below -- H/C/I + spray and my LS7 clutch is still working smoothly (20,000 miles later). One disclaimer -- haven't been dumping it from 6K rpm or anything crazy, however it's proven it can support the power without any trouble.

LS7 clutch here, nothing but problems. 2 slaves, 2 master cylinders. The problem isn't the disc as it's held up ok but its the weak pressure plate. Pedal sticks to the floor and cant shift above 6000 rpm. A lot of people have reported problems with the SAC style pressure plate. Search around, sorry I can't recommend it. I would recommend the disc and flywheel, see if you can run a different pressure plate though. I've never even ran slicks on my car.

my sig pic is with an ls7 clutch, it is on its way out, pressure plate is weak on it. i will most likely just go to a monster... but i was happy with how the ls7 worked while i had it.hell last summer when i first got the car and it was stock i tried doing a burnout in through 3rd, and all it did was slip the clutch.. and than i cammed it after that and it held, noob driver ftl! i would suspect i just had a lucky one.. ps i WOT shift at 6700

that helped with making my desicion. The thing i hate about the stock clutch is the weak pressure plate and the clutch pedal sticking. Now i just need to decide on a smooth but stout clutch for my vette
