Well I dont have any experience with a speed bleeder but when I did my master I had to pump the pedal plenty plenty plenty of times wiithout ever opening the bleeder in order for the pedal to get some pressure on it. You have to pump it plent of times to get fluid moving thru the parts and start getting air into the lines and out the parts that way air escapes when you open the bleeder. Just pump it plenty of times before trying to bleed it and it will get some pressure.
