Reinstalling old clutch, resurface pressure plate?
Have the tranny and clutch out for a rear main seal install. Installing a new flywheel because I had it laying around but should I do anything to recondition the pressure plate surface? Like a light sand or anything? No blue spots or cracking either.
The ls6 clutch has about 15k miles on it so its in pretty good shape and I really dont have the cash for an upgrade so its going back in.
Thanks in advance

Seems like a pretty controversial subject, but Im leaning toward getting it resurfaced only taking a minimal amount off.

I wouldnt do anything to it other then clean it with brake cleaner and maybe a scotch brite pad. If its warped, replace it or there's a good chance you'll have issues with it. The LS6 pressure plate has a self adjuster ring that can only be reset with the pressure late in the compressed position. Resurfacing an LS6 pressure plate is a bad idea since they are tempermental about causing the pedal to stick to the floor on high RM shifts. It doesnt sound like its gonna have any warp to it with only 15k miles though.
