Default T56 differences

I have a t56 from a 2005 ls2 gto. we are installing the whole set up in a 68 Camaro and Im trying to use the 98-02 f body shifter. The problem is that the GTO shift block that mounts on the shift rail with a roll pin must be different. I cant get it to shift to 1 3 5. Anyone know anything about this? Should I try the shift block from an F-body t56? Where could I get one?

You need to switch shifter cups from the Fbody to the GTO T56. That's the only difference.

You can get it from:
